Life doesn't always go the way we imagined.
There comes a moment when you look at what you've built and realize that security doesn't always equate to belonging. After a long period of work and routine, I realized I was experiencing something that no longer suited me, or perhaps never had; it wasn't a failure, but rather an awakening.
From that moment on, I picked up knitting needles (a passion passed down from my paternal great-grandmother) and crochet (passed down from my maternal grandmother) again, and I never stopped. It was my escape from the daily grind.
With Pull The Loop I express this rebirth: through my garments I try to enhance the femininity hidden within every woman and, created by you, they will become unique and personal.
Non sempre la vita segue la strada che avevamo immaginato.
Arriva un momento in cui guardi ciò che hai costruito e ti rendi conto che non sempre la sicurezza coincide con l’appartenenza: dopo un lungo periodo di lavoro e routine ho capito che stavo vivendo qualcosa che non mi rispecchiava più, o forse non lo aveva mai fatto; non è stato un fallimento bensì un risveglio.
Da quel momento ho ripreso in mano i ferri da maglia (passione trasmessa dalla mia bisnonna paterna) e l’uncinetto (trasmessa da mia nonna materna) e non ho più smesso. Era il mio momento di fuga dal delirio quotidiano.
Con Pull The Loop esprimo questa rinascita: attraverso i miei capi cerco di esaltare la femminilità custodita in ogni donna e realizzati da voi, diventeranno unici e personali.
