Beautiful ancient Nila beads in a wonderful array of dark blue glass beads. These are Islamic glass beads, they arrived in Timbuctu in Mali ca 1000 years ago by the ancient trade routes to Djenne. They were buried in the Sahara for centuries.

✔️Length and size beads: ca 56 cm, 4-5 mm
✔️Dark blue with occasionally a bead in another color
✔️Temporarily strung
✔️These beads were handmade, no bead is identical.
✔️Age: ca 1000 years
✔️The beads are in very good condition. Some of these beads have traveled at least three continents. Corrosion and pitting are a normal part of their patina attesting to their age and extensive use.
✔️The beads will be carefully wrapped. Track and trace is an option at checkout.
