This is an utterly fascinating book and I've spent many hours reading through it myself! You learn about everything from fountain pens, soap, paper, glass, pottery, matches to iron smelting and armour plate and big guns!

It is in general good antique condition;some marks and wear to the leather; the leather title band is missing from the spine but the title can actually be made out on the leather underneath; splits in the leather down the spine seams, but it is solidly bound; prize certificate for Sutton County School (dated 1910) on front paste down endpaper.
