For over 30 years, Walt has called Fiji home, dedicating his life to both art and environmental restoration. Originally trained as an architect in 1970, his career took a transformative turn in 1989 when he moved to the South Pacific and became a pioneer in coral farming. Alongside his wife, Deborah, he founded the ADE Project, a groundbreaking initiative focused on coral reef restoration.
Deeply inspired by the vibrant marine life and the rich culture of Fiji, Walt returned to his first passion—art. His work uniquely blends abstract interpretations of people and the underwater world, capturing the essence of Fiji’s natural beauty and heritage. Through his art, he shares his vision with audiences worldwide, raising awareness of the importance of reef conservation.
Every piece Walt creates is more than just a work of art, it is a commitment to the preservation of Fiji’s coral reefs. A portion of every sale supports the ADE Project, ensuring that his passion for sustainability continues to thrive.
