Bone Bazaar BC es un bestiario folclórico: cráneos, esqueletos y bestias extraídas de la naturaleza, el folclore y mi propia mente, todo tallado en xilografía de alto contraste y metal pesado. Es un recordatorio de la muerte que puedes lucir para ir a tomar un café.
He trabajado 20 años en publicidad como creativo sénior y animador. Me apasiona el arte de crear grandes campañas, pero en esta agencia me libero de las directrices y creo con mi propio estilo. Ese estilo nace de toda una vida escuchando Metallica sin parar y de mi predilección por lo auténtico y lo artesanal: la textura de la risografía, el toque del linograbado, la tipografía heavy metal. Si tiene un aspecto un poco crudo y llamativo, probablemente me guste.
Cuando no estoy dibujando, me sumerjo en la ciencia y el espacio profundo. La inmensidad del cosmos se cuela en mi obra, generalmente con una sonrisa filosófica y oscura. Todo aquí es el resultado de dos décadas de profesionalismo y una pasión de toda la vida por lo alternativo.

I've spent 20 years in advertising as a senior creative and animator. I love the craft of building big campaigns, but this shop is where I drop the brief and make things in my own voice. That voice comes from a lifetime of Metallica on repeat and a soft spot for the gritty and DIY: Risograph grain, linocut bite, heavy-metal type. If it looks a little raw and loud, I'm probably into it.
When I'm not drawing, I'm lost in science and deep space. The sheer scale of the cosmos has a way of creeping into the work, usually wearing a philosophical-noir grin. Everything here is two decades of professional polish wrestling with a lifelong love of the underground.
