From a Dream to Reality: How Build A Hilt is Bringing Customizable 3D Printed Saber Hilts to Life
I've always been fascinated by the world of Star Wars and the iconic lightsabers wielded by the characters, particularly the intricate designs of the hilts, and each one was an extension of the wielder. I dreamed of one day creating my own.
Years of tinkering, experimenting and working in game development led me to develop a talent for 3D modeling, and I soon found myself creating my own custom lightsaber hilts. After sharing my designs with friends and family, they encouraged my to share my creations with the online.
And that's how Build A Hilt was born. I've started offering my 3D printable STL files for sale, allowing others to bring my designs to life and create their own custom lightsaber props.

The hilts are made up of several parts that are designed to fit together seamlessly, so you can swap and rearrange the parts however you please and create your own ideal prop saber hilt.
