Quiero compartir la historia de cómo convertí este negocio en lo que es hoy. Como fan de los Chiefs de Kansas City, decidí hacerme algunas chaquetas de los Chiefs. Compré las chaquetas y luego encontré algunos parches. Después de plancharlos, me di cuenta de que quería aprender a coserlos para que fueran de alta calidad. En 2025, contacté a mi tía Nancy y le pregunté si me enseñaría a coser. Empezamos con parches y luego comencé a agregar tela. Después, agregué franelas y comencé a cortar camisetas. Empezamos en enero y para abril habíamos creado alrededor de 100 artículos. Aprendimos juntas. Se convirtió en un segundo trabajo de tiempo completo para mí. Estábamos juntas casi 7 días a la semana. Aprendiendo, cosiendo, creando y construyendo un vínculo aún más fuerte que antes. ❤️ Con el tiempo, ella comenzó a enfermarse. Finalmente, le diagnosticaron cáncer de páncreas. Tuvimos que dejar de coser en abril. Empaqué todo y lo guardé. No estaba segura de poder hacerlo sola, ni siquiera de querer hacerlo. Mi tía me animó a seguir adelante. Finalmente, pude dejar mi trabajo de tiempo completo y comencé a dedicarme por completo a mi negocio. Lamentablemente, mi tía falleció en octubre de ese mismo año.
Coser y crear se han convertido en una forma de desahogarme y superar mi dolor. Sé que tengo un ángel que me cuida y me guía. Recuerda siempre que puedes ganar más dinero, pero NUNCA podrás recuperar el tiempo perdido. Perdona a quienes amas. Sigue tus sueños. Valora a tus seres queridos. Descansa en paz, tía Nancy. I want to share the story of how I made this business what it is today. As a KC Chiefs fan, I decided to make myself some Chiefs jackets. I bought the jackets then found some patches. After ironing them on, I realized I wanted to learn how to sew them so they would be high quality. In 2025, I reached out to my Aunt Nancy and asked if she would teach me how to sew. We started out with patches and then I started adding material. Next, I added flannels and started cutting up t-shirts. We started in January and by April we had created about 100 items! We learned together. It became a second full-time job for me. We were together nearly 7 days a week. Learning, sewing, creating and building a bond that was even closer than we had before. ❤️ As time went on, she started to become sick. Eventually, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We had to stop sewing in April. I packed up everything and put it away. I wasn’t sure if I could do this on my own or if I even wanted to. My aunt encouraged me to keep going. Eventually, I was able to quit my full-time job and I started focusing completely on my business. Sadly, my Aunt passed away In October of that year.
Sewing and creating have become a grief outlet for me. I know that I have an angel watching over me and guiding me. Always remember that you can make more money but you can NEVER get back time.
