How do I download my files if I don’t have an Etsy account?

If you made a purchase as a guest you will receive an email from Etsy with a with a download link. Just click on it and it should download to your device. You might have to direct it to a specific folder, depending on how you have set things up.

I’m in the Etsy app and I can’t download my digital file.

Currently (or maybe forever, who knows?) it’s impossible to download your purchase from inside the Etsy app. You need to log out of it and open a browser, log in again and go to “Account” and then “Purchases.” There you will find a download link.
