A modern stained glass studio rooted in craftsmanship, curiosity, and a little bit of magic
Divination Glass Studio is the creative home of a Seattle-based stained glass artist, lifelong maker, and former event planner who finally leaned all the way into the call to create.
After years spent building experiences for other people, I found myself craving a slower, more tactile form of artistry; something rooted in patience, process, and tradition. Stained glass became that thing almost instantly. It felt strangely familiar, like reconnecting with something that had always been waiting for me.
My grandfather was a stained glass artist, and I’ve always known that glass would become my “final boss era” craft after years of fiber arts, quilting, and creative experimentation. Working with glass feels instinctive in a way I can’t fully explain. It is simultaneously challenging, meditative, deeply satisfying, and somehow in my blood.
Every piece I make is handcrafted in my Seattle studio and inspired by the things I love most: relic iconography, spiritualism, the Arts and Crafts movement, true craftsmanship, and the moody magic of the Pacific Northwest. I’m endlessly drawn to old church windows, sacred symbolism, folklore, and objects that feel like they carry a story.
You’ll also find plenty of whimsy here. Alongside mystical and nature-inspired work, I create custom stained glass pet portraits and one-of-a-kind pieces meant to feel joyful, personal, and a little unexpected.
When I’m not cutting glass, soldering, or sketching new designs, I’m usually renovating something in my house, attempting a cake decorating project beyond my skill level, exploring woodworking, watching true crime documentaries, learning Spanish and tarot, or spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our two very adorable dogs.
I truly believe stained glass is one of the most rewarding art forms out there. It demands patience and problem solving, but it also teaches you how to slow down and notice beauty in light, texture, and imperfection. If you’ve ever been curious about trying it yourself, I wholeheartedly encourage you to dive in and feel free to reach out with questions anytime. I love talking shop.
Thanks for being here and supporting handmade art. It means more than you know.
