Mi viaje de curación comenzó hace más de 25 años, cuando sufría de fatiga crónica en la escuela secundaria. La enfermedad me hizo sentir atrapada y como una prisionera en mi cuerpo. Me odiaba a mí misma y no podía hacer todas las cosas con las que soñaba. Encontré el equilibrio con la ayuda de la meditación, la medicina alternativa y una nueva práctica de autocuidado. Más tarde, mi misión fue ayudar a las personas con condiciones de salud que les impiden vivir su pasión y propósito en la vida.
He sido un creador toda mi vida. Me encantan los cristales, los minerales y la creación de joyas que inspiran belleza, reverencia por el mundo natural e intención curativa. Comencé a hacer mis líneas de productos, Pearl Apothecary y Inner Gate jewelry, en 2014.
Como herbolario y acupunturista chino certificado por la Junta Nacional, utilizo las antiguas teorías chinas y la ciencia moderna para formular productos que nutren nuestros cuerpos de afuera hacia adentro.
Pearl Apothecary cobró vida cuando estaba investigando hierbas y aceites esenciales para tratar la obstinada psoriasis de mi madre. Formulé un ungüento para ayudarla a sanar. Después de eso, continué desarrollando y formulando productos que se sienten bien, huelen bien y curan nuestra piel.
Es una práctica de auto-crianza para cuidar de nuestros cuerpos con productos hermosos. Creo que este amor propio nos ayuda a sanar y llegar a ser completos.

My healing journey started over 25 years ago, when suffered with chronic fatigue I. high school. Illness made me feel trapped and like a prisoner in my body. I hated myself and couldn't do all the things I dreamed of. I found balance with the help of meditation, alternative medicine and a new found practice of self-care. Later, made it my mission to help people with health conditions that hold them back from living their passion and purpose in life.
I’ve been a maker all my life. I love crystals, minerals and creating jewelry that inspires beauty, reverence for the natural world, and healing intention.I started making my product lines- Pearl Apothecary and Inner Gate jewelry- in 2014.
As National board certified Chinese Herbalist and Acupuncturist, I use the ancient Chinese theories and modern science to formulate products that nourish our bodies from the outside in.
Pearl Apothecary came to life when I was researching herbs and essential oils to treat my mom’s stubborn Psoriasis. I formulated an ointment to help her heal. After that, I continued to develop and formulate products that feel good, smell good, and heal our skin.
It's a self-nurturing practice to take care of our bodies with beautiful products. I believe this self-love helps us heal and become whole.
Why Pearl? A pearl is precious, has natural luster, takes time to form, and is natural. I think it sums up the products of Pearl Apothecary quite well. These products are made in small batches, using the finest ingredients. I mindfully use preservatives in some products to keep them safe to use for 6-12 months. I do not use parabens or formaldehyde preservatives. None of our products are tested on animals and many are vegan. They will make your skin and spirit glow.
Inner Gate is Jewelry with healing intention. Since I was in second grade, I made Jewelry and had my first business making custom friendship bracelets. I am so drawn to gemstones that in high school, I seriously considered a career as a gemologist. These magnificent stones have healing characteristics and can serve as objects of beauty to cherish.
Chinese Medicine and Daoist traditions have used stones to heal for centuries. They understood the power of crystals and passed down this wisdom to us today. I am beyond thrilled to bring you adornments that inspire you to stay connected, grounded, and keep your meridian energy flowing.
Inner Gate has two meanings. First, Inner Gate refers to an acupuncture point on the inner wrist that has the power to resolve "inner blockages" in the chest. It can calm the spirit and quiet the mind, but it's most famous to treat nausea and harmonize digestion. Second, a gate is a powerful symbol of a journey. As you pass through a gate, you decide to take an active role in your journey, in your inner transformation. You can and should be active in your healing process, and Inner Gate Jewelry can help remind you of the power you have.
