I have travelled through most of this United States, so far 46 of the 50 states.
During that time I have held several different jobs in various occupations.
In one particular position with a large corporation I had a regular task of locating or obtaining items for use by the department. These items ranged from the easy to obtain to the more unusual and hard to find items. I soon learned that almost everyone including those in other departments were in need of something.
Shortly I started trading favor for favor and found I could have a whole group of individuals looking for my items in return for me finding their items. This turned out to be a talent for which I was soon known. Although it wasn't called "Trader" it meant pretty much the same thing.
Many years ago before Etsy I started sales over bulletin board systems a fore-runner of today's World Wide Web. I came up with the Kentucky part of our name due to having ancestors of mine and my wife's in Kentucky.
In all of our travels and living in close to a dozen states, lots of contacts have been made with both collectors and sources of the items we "trade".
We visit many of our sources when they contact us with new finds or treasures.
We try to bring a nice variety to our shop.
We post many of our latest finds on Instagram or Google+ just before they are placed in the shop.
