Me ha apasionado el arte desde que tengo memoria. Incluso de niño, siempre estaba creando, ya fuera dibujando en la tierra o usando agua sobre cemento como lienzo. Me encantaba que el arte me diera la libertad de crear lo que quisiera. Podía construir mis propios mundos y sumergirme en ellos, sobre todo cuando me sentía deprimido.

Al crecer, me fui alejando del arte por un tiempo, pero lo retomé en la preparatoria. Me dediqué a crear como una forma de sobrellevar las dificultades, y con el tiempo descubrí que se me daba bastante bien. Cuando ya no tenía espacio para todos mis materiales de arte, empecé a experimentar con una aplicación de dibujo gratuita en mi teléfono. Finalmente, después de graduarme, pasé a usar mi computadora portátil y, más tarde, mi PC.

La transición del arte tradicional con grafito al arte digital fue todo un reto, pero con el tiempo encontré mi ritmo y poco a poco empecé a desarrollar mi propio estilo. Durante mucho tiempo creé principalmente para mí y mis amigos, pero ellos me animaban constantemente a compartir mi trabajo con los demás. Les aseguro que me costó mucho convencerlos. Pero aquí estoy, por fin dando ese paso y compartiendo mis creaciones con el mundo.

I’ve been into art for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid, I was always creating — whether that meant drawing in the dirt or using water on concrete as my canvas. I loved that art gave me the ability to create anything I wanted. I could build my own worlds and immerse myself in them, especially during times when I was feeling down.

As I got older, I slowly drifted away from art for a while, but I found my way back to it in high school. I threw myself into creating as a way to cope, and over time I discovered I had become pretty good at it. When I no longer had the space for all of my art supplies, I started experimenting with a free drawing app on my phone. Eventually I moved to my laptop after graduating, and later to my PC.

The transition from traditional graphite art to digital art was definitely challenging, but with time I found my rhythm and slowly began developing my own style. For a long time I mostly created things for myself and my friends, but they kept encouraging me to share my work with others. Let me tell you — it took a LOT of convincing. But here I am, finally taking that step and sharing my creations with the world.
