Are you going to charge more after shipping rates go up on April 3rd?
No! Times are tough all over right now, and we don’t want to make things tougher by charging more.
What we will do is use ground or parcel post shipping for larger, heavier items. This takes from three to eight days for you to receive your item, so think of it as “media mail for non-media.”
Other than that, we will continue to offer free shipping whenever we reasonably can.
What shipping service do you use for domestic orders?
We use USPS whenever we can; until now, that has pretty much meant “always.” We are firmly committed to keeping the US Postal Service alive. We consider it essential.
Do you offer refunds if I receive an item that’s damaged or broken?
Once an item leaves our hands, it’s out of our control. We make sure to pack our items extremely securely, and have shipped many fragile things that have arrived in perfect condition. So this issue shouldn’t come up at all. In the very, very unlikely event that your item does arrive damaged or broken, your best course of action is to contact the shipper that delivered it. They should be able to compensate you.
Do you accept returns?
We're using Etsy's standard returns policy. Buyers can return an item within 30 days of purchase, and buyer is responsible for return shipping. Please refer to Etsy's policies for details.
What if I receive an item that isn't as described?
That would be awful, and we would want you to get in touch with us through Etsy ASAP so that we can figure out what went wrong. We're happy to say that we are very careful with our descriptions and our photography, so we don't expect anything like that to happen. (Just thinking about it is making us hyperventilate.) But if it does happen, our Number One goal is to make sure that the situation is resolved fairly and promptly.
Help! I need my item shipped right away! I don't see that option offered in your shipping choices - what do I do?
Get in touch with us through Etsy immediately and let us know. If you're sure you want the item, we'll reserve it for you, add the shipping option you need - be aware that expedited shipping charges tend to be higher, sometimes a lot higher - and let you know once we're done. Then you can swoop in and buy the item!
But remember: someone else isn't prevented from buying the item just because we've reserved it, so move fast. We hope Etsy will tweak this so that we can reserve items securely, but for now, we can't guarantee that somebody else won't grab the item first.
I can't buy the item I want because you don't ship to my country. Is there anything I can do about this?
There are a couple of things you can do, and we'll try our best to help you and let you buy what you want. (But be aware that according to US law, there will be certain locations we simply can't ship to. Here's a link to Etsy's explanation of that policy:

The best thing to do is contact us, and we'll see if we can work out a purchase just for you. If it can be done, we will!
The other possibility is to use an intermediate address in a country we do ship to, and collect the item from there.
