4 out of 5 starsI should preface this by saying that I love it now that it's done. It wasn't 3D printer friendly and it shows in the final product if you know where to look. The file itself is fine, but it's not easy for a printer to handle. The details are gorgeous, but once printed the lines of the layers are pretty obvious. This was such a pain to prep and paint. All of the little nooks and crannies and weird angles. I was so sick of it by the end. HOW I GOT AROUND THESE PROBLEMS: For the layer lines: get some sort of jar and fill with one part Alex Fast Dry caulk and two parts water, shake to mix. Paint on several thin-ish layers. For the painting, if you are making it look metal, color match some regular acrylic to your chosen metallic paint and paint a base layer. I promise you, you will not want to paint more than two layers. Good luck<3
