Tengo el privilegio de trabajar junto con mi primo derribando y reclamando graneros. Usamos el material para muebles, arte, todo tipo de cosas realmente. Es genial tener la oportunidad de usar nuestra creatividad para construir piezas únicas de calidad que preservan las tradiciones e historias de nuestros predecesores. Algunas de estas piezas pueden incluir mesas, sillas, bancos, arte, cuchillos / varios cubiertos, relojes, juegos y otras chucherías.
Todo comenzó para mí en 2014 cuando mi primo y yo nos reunimos para derribar un granero y usar la madera recuperada para construir algunos muebles. En su mayoría bancos y sillas. Los vendería en un mercado local de agricultores. Decidí probar una tienda de Etsy y qué experiencia tan buena ha sido.
Mi encantadora esposa comenzó a agregar el maravilloso arte creativo quemado en madera que ves en nuestra tienda. Yo creo los otros elementos. Nuestras hermosas hijas disfrutan ayudando con el embalaje y la "atención al cliente". Ha sido una bendición ver que el Señor provee para nosotros en este viaje en los últimos años. ¡¡Es fiel y bueno!! No puedo decirlo lo suficiente. Estamos emocionados de ver lo que Él tiene reservado para nuestro futuro.
Aunque, cada granero trae nuevos desafíos, cada uno tiene sus propias características y cualidades distintas. Lo que significa que los productos que creamos son siempre individuales e inimitables. Puede estar seguro de que cada pieza está hecha a mano y se le da un cuidado distinto en su calidad.
Disfruto no solo usando cosas recuperadas de graneros, es decir, madera, poleas, bisagras, hardware y quién sabe qué encontrarás. También me gusta incorporar astas en muchos de mis proyectos. ¡Siempre estoy buscando astas!

I have the privilege of working along with my cousin tearing down and reclaiming barns. We use the material for furniture, art, all sorts of things really. It is so great to have the opportunity to use our creativity to construct unique quality pieces that preserve traditions and stories of our predecessors. Some of these pieces may include tables, chairs, benches, art, knives/various cutlery, clocks, games and other knick-knacks.
It all started for me in 2014 when my cousin and I got together to tear down a barn and use the reclaimed wood to build some furniture. Mostly benches and chairs. I would sell them at a local farmers market. I decided to try an Etsy shop and what a neat experience it has been.
My lovely wife started adding the wonderful creative wood-burned art you see in our shop. I create the other items. Our beautiful daughters enjoy helping with packaging and "customer care". It has been such a blessing to see the Lord provide for us in this journey the past few years. He is faithful and good!! I can't say it enough. We are excited to see what He has in store for our future.
Although, each barn brings on new challenges every single one holds it's own distinct characteristics and qualities. Which means the products we create are always individual and inimitable. You can be assured that each piece is hand-made and given distinct care in it's quality.
I enjoy not only using things reclaimed from barns, i.e., wood, pulleys, hinges, hardware and who-knows-what you'll find. I enjoy incorporating antlers into many of my projects as well. I am always on the lookout for antlers!
