Hi! I’m Cheyenne. I’ve always had a creative side and love creating. I take after my mom and grandma. My grandma taught me to sew and has always had a love for embroidery. One of my closest friends encouraged me to get my own machine and create designs! That was in the summer of 2021. I have a full time job I love and work on orders after work and on the weekends. A little bit about my process.
All embroidery designs need to start as digitized embroidery files. Think of it like the outline for where the needle and thread needs to go. I either find a design or hire a digitizer to create a custom piece. I then test-stitch the design until it’s perfect and ready to be stitched onto apparel.
I order apparel from a clothing supplier as orders come in (I’m not a big enough shop to have bulk stock), wait for it to arrive, and then pre-wash/dry. I mark the placement of the design, hoop the apparel, and begin to stitch. Designs can take 25 minutes to over an hour to stitch out. I trim remaining threads, clean up the design and hang the apparel to be packaged and shipped out.
