Fantastic quality spoon I got for serving soups and stews. I do wish the handle was a little longer but there is good strength in the spoon so I'm not afraid of it bending or warping with use. Would recommend!

I love my spoon! I collect wooden spoons and this is a fast favorite of my husband (he's got the only mouth big enough to fit the massive bowl!). The selection of wood was thoughtful and emphasizes the beautiful contrast between the heartwood and the sapwood. The shaping is confident (so many spoon carvers just don't have a sense of design!) and the execution smooth and masterly. I love the finish too. Delivery was prompt, even across The Pond.

This "spatch-cooker" is the bees knees! I just received it in the mail today and was pleased simply to hold it in my hands for a while and feel that it had been made by other--very skillful--hands. Buffalo Keith kindly put a hole in the handle for me when I asked him--so I could hang it and display the whole item. It is a pleasure to look at, and is exactly as pictured on the website, but even nicer up close, where you can just make out the faint marks of the tools used to create it. The wood is very light and gracefully shaped so that it feels like an extension of my arm. I haven't had time to cook anything with it yet, but I can already feel it'll be just the right thing for scraping all those tasty bits off the bottoms of pots, or flipping omelettes, burgers, and the like. (Going grocery shopping tomorrow!)
