Welcome to the shop of Patchwork Flamingo Quilt Designs. I design and create original quilts, prayer quilts and prayer shawls. Sometimes in our hectic, stress filled lives we all need a little love and comfort. For me, designing and creating quilted treasures provides that love and comfort that I can then pass on to someone else. I believe that the love and comfort that I sew into every quilt is passed on to the person who uses it. Quilts envelope you in their love. The comfort you. They provide hugs. The quilted prayer shawls were created to offer both warmth and comfort. Prayer shawls are perfect for anyone needing comfort, guidance, or just warmth. The angel wings prayer shawls wrap the user in guardian angel wings to envelope the user in protection and comfort. They can be created in a variety of colors and patterns, religious or non-religious. While my home is a smoke free environment, we do have dogs and cats. All my quilts are washed when completed and then stored packed away to keep them as clean as possible. All my items are machine washable on the gentle cycle in cold water. They can then be hung to dry or dried in a dryer on the lowest heat setting.
