Mon parcours, je suppose, a commencé en 1997 alors que j'étudiais la gestion du marketing, à l'époque où Internet était en plein essor ! J'ai acquis des connaissances sur Adobe et Corell Draw, et plus loin, j'ai créé mon propre bureau où je faisais de la conception graphique et du développement Web. Puis vint le début des années 2000 et la chute.
Longue histoire courte; J'ai passé les 20 années suivantes à rebondir. Entre-temps, je me suis acheté un appareil photo professionnel et j'ai pratiqué la photographie comme passe-temps tout en continuant à jouer avec Photoshop et Lightroom.
Après cela, j'ai toujours considéré mes photos comme « dignes » d'une certaine présentation, j'ai donc tenté sans enthousiasme de vendre les meilleures d'entre elles sur 500px.com/owutne.
En 2023, lors de très longues vacances au Pérou, j'ai succombé à l'envie de cultiver à nouveau mon côté créatif au quotidien. Toujours en pensant à la valeur de mes photos, et ayant beaucoup de temps libre, je me suis amusé sur Youtube en tombant sur des vidéos POD. Il y en avait quelques bons que je trouvais dignes de confiance et j'étais intrigué à l'idée d'essayer ce modèle commercial par moi-même. Puis, de retour de vacances presque immédiatement, mon Imac s'est effondré et j'ai dû attendre un certain temps (également à cause d'un mauvais envoi) pour obtenir mon Macbook pro sur mesure (je sais, mieux adapté pour travailler en déplacement, non ?). J'ai donc raté les saisons les plus importantes de ma première année en termes de ventes.
L'automne 23, puis l'hiver, j'ai créé et publié, toujours en train d'apprendre et de peaufiner.
Donc finalement c'est arrivé. Après près d'un an sur cette plateforme. J'ai eu ma vente la semaine 10, 2024 :-) Ce qui est amusant, c'est que le motif sur le sweat à capuche acheté par mon premier client était une image prise au Pérou alors que je planifiais ma vitrine Etsy. Incroyable. Coïncidence ou synchronisation ? Quoi qu'il en soit, je suis maintenant un créateur passionné de vêtements et d'objets utiles - comme je le fais la promotion dans la bannière.

Come 2023 and during a looooong vacation in Peru, I succumbed to the yearning for once again cultivate my creative side as a day-to-day occupation. Still thinking of my photos worthiness, and given way to much spare-time I binged on Youtube stumbling upon POD videos. There were quite a few good ones whom I found trustworthy and I was intrigued to try this business model for myself. Then back from my vacation almost immediately my Imac collapsed, and I had to wait some time, (also due to wrong shipment) to get my tailored Macbook pro (I know, better suited to work on the go, right?). So I missed out on my first years most important seasons sales wise.
Fall 23, then winter I´ve been creating and posting, still learning, and tweaking.
So finally it happened. After nearly a year on this platform. I got my sale week 10, 2024 :-) The fun thing is that the motif on the hoodie my first client bought was an image taken in Peru while I was planning for my Etsy storefront. Amazing. Coincidence, or synchronisation? Either way, I am now a passionate creator of apparels and useful stuff - as I promote in the banner.
