I wanted a beautiful cardigan sweater in dark grey and asked Katrin (DeProensa Design) if she could create one for me. What emerged from my admittedly vague description is a gorgeous sweater. First, Katrin identified several quality yarns in dark grey so I could select the grey I wanted. Next, she designed a unique, elegant sweater with cables of different sizes and shapes that create a visually pleasing, intricate cardigan. Katrin thoughtfully and beautifully reinforced the neckline, cuffs, placket, and waist so the sweater will hold its shape year after year. ("Reinforced" does not do justice to the sweater, but I don't know the name of the pattern/ornamentation Katrin used.) In the years to come, I will enjoy wearing this warm, stylish sweater with jeans or more dressy outfits!

I asked Katrin (DeProensa Design) to design 2 summer cardigans for me. We started with color. Katrin presented me with beautiful, high quality yarn options. I finally chose light blue and a particularly vibrant vino. Katrin then designed 2 completely different sweaters. I love both! Katrin intricately interweaves different patterns and ornamentation to create remarkable, one of a kind sweaters. Katrin's talent and the shimmering quality of the yarn come together in 2 gorgeous, seemingly otherworldly sweaters. Even the buttons are special and Katrin clearly spent hours (if not days) just to find the perfect, unique buttons that enhance each sweater. One set of buttons is a just-right light blue with flecks of light brown; the other set has a touch of whimsy that perfectly reflects the sweater's color and character. Thank you!

Katrin of DeProensa Design has created some of the most unique, stunning sweaters I own. Thus, when I wanted a black cardigan, I turned to Katrin because I knew I would not get a boring sweater. Katrin is amazing. She always listens to me and to the yarn to design truly one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Here, the black sweater she made me is indeed artwork. It is rich and mesmerizing with the many different stiches and patterns she used. The sweater is modern yet timeless, elegant yet practical. I love the cables, braids, and delicate trim. The cardigan showcases Katrin's attention to detail; I can tell even the buttons were chosen carefully to complement the sweater. The cardigan fits beautifully and Katrin chose that fit to add to the sweater's flair. I am in awe of the talent that made me such a stunning, showstopper sweater!
