This butter is highly desired due to its superior quality. It is easy to work with and can make your products very luxurious. It is filtered/cleaned through a natural clay process. Our mango butter is tested in a U.S. lab to ensure quality and that it is free of bacteria, mold, etc. Mango butter can be applied directly to the skin, as it will melt at body temperature.
When used in making cold process soap, it should be used as a super fat material of 2% to 5% of your total fats and oils. We use this butter in our soap, lotion, lip balm and more. We absolutely love this butter and so do our customers!
INCI: Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter
Country of origin: The Ivory Coast, Africa
TIPS: Be careful not to overheat mango butter when making products with it, as it will have a grainy feel to it. Do not heat above 155 degrees F.
Best when stored in dark, cool place. Shelf life: 1 to 2 years. We purchase the butter frequently so it's always FRESH!

Mango butter definitely should not be hard like cocoa butter. That is not the normal texture of mango butter. Each butter will have it's own texture and if you ever have these type of questions, all you need do is contact us. We respond very quickly and thoroughly. Always happy to help! :)
