My daughter is 11 and is using the ear press at home and the earrings when she goes to school. The earrings have a flat surface with a plastic 'film' on it which helps them to stay on well. They also look more 'normal' than the cheap clips on earrings we first tried so she is not as self conscious when wearing them. Her new earrings give a much firmer pressure. She is getting used to the ear press and it also gives a good pressure because you can tighten the little screws. Thank you to Joanne for all her helpful information and advise whilst I was trying to decide if I should order. I would recommend these earrings and ear press for anyone with keloids developing from ear piercing.
