As the Jolis Pots are hand painted and although varnished, it is not recommended to allow water to accumulate in the pot as well as in the cup, at the risk of damaging the product.

2 possible uses including 1 optimal:

1. [Best solution] Use the Joli Pot as a planter by inserting the plastic pot in which the plant is located directly into the Joli Pot. Water independently of the Joli Pot. Size guide: add a plastic pot of one or two sizes below the Joli Pot (example: add a plastic pot of 9 or 11 cm in diameter in a Joli Pot of 13 cm in diameter).
2. [Other solution] Repot your plant directly in the Joli Pot. Be careful, however, not to water too much and, as mentioned above, not to leave water in the cup as this risks eventually damaging the paint.

Les tailles de pots disponibles sont les suivantes :
- 8 cm : mini pot pouvant accueillir des mini cactus, succulentes ou baby plantes.
- 11 cm : petit pot dans lequel vous pouvez mettre de petites plantes, de tout type.
- 13 cm : la taille standard. Vous y mettez des petites et moyennes plantes, comme par exemple une orchidée de dimension commune.
- 15 cm : pot adapté aux moyennes plantes. Elles auront plus d'espace pour grandir. Parfait en tant que cache-pot (pas besoin de rempoter dedans).
- 17 cm : pot pouvant accueillir des moyennes et "grandes" plantes. Parfait en tant que cache-pot (pas besoin de rempoter à l'intérieur).

Il est recommandé, pour une plus grande pérennité des Jolis Pots de :
- Les entreposer à l'intérieur. Si vous avez envie de les installer à l'extérieur, merci de m'en faire part pour que je puisse vous mettre une couche plus importante de vernis, afin de les protéger contre les intempéries. A noter cependant que les Jolis Pots doivent être rentrés en cas de gel. Donc à remiser dans un endroit sec et tempéré, de préférence, en hiver. Ils n'aiment pas le froid.
- S'en servir de cache-pot plutôt que de rempoter une plante directement dedans.
- Passer un coup de chiffon légèrement humidifié pour enlever les traces de terre ou résidus issus de la plante, les poussières...
- Ne pas trop les exposer au soleil direct.

Il est tout à fait possible de les entreposer à l'extérieur (ex : déco de terrasse, sépulture).
