All items ship with tracking and insurance via Canada Post. I'd like the buyer (and seller!!) to be confident that the purchase is safe and if it is lost, there is compensation. (If you'd like a different carrier - please ask, I'll try to accommodate.)

I do take great care to package all of my items. I use rigid mailers, boxes, envelopes, and poly and bubble mailers. I try to use previously used mailers and packing materials so that at least they are used more than once. I have now purchased biodegradable poly-mailers so that almost everything (except bubble wrap and some packing airbags and popcorn that I've collected) can be recycled or composted. ♻️

The answer is two fold:
➊ Canada Post rates are quite high. They are, however, a very reliable shipping service and I am quite happy to report that there has only been 1 lost delivery - to Korea (it was not tracked). Only 1 out of over 900 orders is fantastic!!
➋ Often, when you purchase more than one item, the cost of the shipping automatically increases to a larger amount. If this happens, I refund large postage overages.

If I have made an error in the shipping price and it is higher than what is quoted to you, to be fair in this regard, I may ask for the difference before I fulfil the order.

🧠 As a creator/designer, I feel it is ethical to sell only 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 patterns/magazines and the like. I respect the creators and honour the copyrights of the items I am selling. I would hope that I would receive the same respect and fair treatment of my intellectual property. I will not sell/buy unauthorized copies of patterns (for example) without permission from the creator or copyright holder. As well, I endeavour to give credit where credit is due.
