Necklace made of three millefiori glass beads, made in Venice and traded in West Africa, where these ones were sourced. Interspaced with sterling silver beads.

These millefiori glass beads are from the XIXth and 1st half of XXth century.

Venetian beads like this were made in Venice for centuries, to be exchanged in Africa for gold, ivory and other desired commodities in Europe.

Dimensions:

Total length of the necklace: 44 cm
Length only the beads: 6.5 cm
Size of the glass beads: 1,2 x 1 cm

It is fastened with a sterling silver clasp.
