Dream Catchers, traditionally of Native American origin, serve to capture bad dreams and let through the sweet dreams.
Those that I propose have a third function, which is to make you dream !

Cervidae antler is a noble material, used since prehistoric times to make rudimentary tools and ornaments.
Roe-deer ( capreolus capreolus) is a cervid species living in the forests.
Only males have antlers that grow during winter and spring, then naturally fall in autumn.
Just like Roe-deer, the European deer (cervus elaphus) is a cervidae
whose only males have antlers that grow during spring and summer, then naturally fall at the end of winter.
All the deer antlers that I use, have been found in the forests of the South of France

Bolo ties can be worn by both men and women.
You can wear it like a regular necktie with a shirt for a formal look, or you can wear it looser for more casual look with whatever you like !
Bolo ties can also be worn like a long necklace and they can be used as a decorative accessory around a hat !
The bolo ties I propose are all unique pieces, handmade with the most of care.

The exact origins of the bolo tie have been obscured by the desert sands of the American Southwest.

Some historians say it was inspired by bandanas that Native Americans Zuni and Navajo wore around their neck and kept clasped together with a silver scarf slide.

Others says the origins of the bolo tie come from Victor E. Cedarstaff chasing wild horses in the 1940s. While on the chase, Cedarstaff’s silver-clasp hatband slipped off, causing his hat to fly away.
He salvaged his hatband and slipped it over his neck for safekeeping. His companeros noticed and complimented his new tie !

The feathers that I use for creating dream catchers and earrings, are molted feathers (feathers that birds naturally lose) carefully cleaned and selected.

The vast majority of them were found in nature during hikes or in gardens, with a lot of time, patience and luck! This is the case for turtle doves, blackbirds, tits, owls, ducks, pheasants, pink flamingos ...

I also use molted feathers that come from small private farms in the South of France such as some pheasant feathers, geese, roosters and ducks.

I am very sensitive to the respect of the nature, that's why I work with materials that it offers us like naturally shed antlers and feathers.
