This print is so unique compared to the other maps I looked into. My boyfriend loves! His family is from Corsica, so it has a special place in his heart...and now on our living room wall!

Good print with good resolution. It came in handy when my crew and I found ourselves stranded on the coast of New Holland. Our fluyt, together with our valuable shipment of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon were irreparably lost, and with thousands of miles between us and the nearest Compagnie outpost, the prospect of rescue was a dubious one at best. While initially our courage failed and it seemed all hope was lost, our faith and determination carried us through, and with the guidance of the Lord we managed to find our way back to Batavia using only a compass, the stars and this map. Would recommend for the casual adventurer, history buff or 17th century explorer.
