“Still Waiting” is the second oil painting from a series of two. The first painting was called “Wait”.
We spend so much time waiting. Waiting in line-ups. Waiting for phone calls, e-mails, packages and people. Like waiting for a friend who never shows-up. “Just wait, I’ll be right there.”
I thought I’d paint that, waiting and waiting and still waiting.
I love sandy beaches and water, even though I don’t visit them often enough. So naturally, I used a golden beach as the setting for my little tattooed, patient people waiting till the point of near exasperation.
