I own Diane Dobson Barton Art, where I create visual art and write nonfiction.
I have always had an urge to make things and grew up in a family of creative individuals. My visual art is primarily from oil on canvas or aluminum panel and charcoal on bristol board.
I am a full-time artist and spend most of my time in the studio, at my computer, or with a pen in my hand. The only thing that makes it better is when I am with the ones I love.
My work has won a number of awards and is in public and private collections around the globe.
The images I make are inspired by the very things that matter the most to me, art materials, and the people in my life.
I use archival professional-grade materials in all of my work. But, if the piece is mixed media, be sure to read the description, because this may not be the case in those limited circumstances.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask, and I hope you enjoy looking around my shop!
