Greetings from Duluth Minnesota! I live near Lake Superior and am always inspired by the beauty of my natural surroundings. My current passion is dyeing fabric with a technique called ice dyeing, or in my case Snow dyeing during the long winter months. While I do purchase new items, my favorite items to work with are vintage. Both vintage clothing and and linens find their way into my dye bath.

The shirt I received is beautiful. USPS lost the original, but Maria was wonderful to work with and made it right, sending me a shirt with similar colors and a bonus gift, even though it was not her fault that USPS lost it. Maria went above and beyond and her work is outstanding.

My drive to create has been with me since i can remember. From mudpies decorated with flower petals and seeds, my 1st rock tumbler, numerous latch hook rug kits, string art, crocheted critters sold at lunch hour, I have never set down my scissors or glue gun. ( and it is tough to get much done with your hands full)

Trained as a textile artist, I tend to meander through many different art/craft forms as i like to try new techniques.

I have made dolls, fairy wings, tiaras, clothing and accessories, jewelry, handbags and collage. I knit poorly and crochet happily. Screen printing, fabric dyeing and weaving are all favorites as well.
