Love this little bag. I bought it to put my small fan in and it is just perfect. Quality is excellent and I love that the pull cords are actual cords which will be long lasting, especially for hanging.

I think this is at least my third time ordering these bags - they're gorgeous! So well-crafted and of such pretty fabric, they're a gift all on their own. I love these for taking other gifts to the next level and for storing/protecting a variety of things, like tucking a book into when I travel, collecting hair ties together, and gathering little necessities in one place that would otherwise roll around my purse. Eiko is also such an absolute pleasure to communicate with!

I am an installation artist. I love to work with surreal, illustrative images.

Nuno zori is one of my recent obsessions! I learned to weave the traditional Japanese footwear while visiting Japan.
I am fascinated by Japanese suminagashi marbling!

About the journal maker :)

My name is Eiko. I am a sculptor and a book maker.
I was born in Japan, and I was educated in the United States. While growing up in Japan, I was surrounded by Japanese manga art and beautiful Japanese traditional crafts of all kind. I have always loved all things that were made by hand. I am especially drawn to handmade paper objects.

I share the Japanese aesthetic of finding beauty in simplicity and solid craftsmanship. I believe that functional objects should always be well-made. I strive to meet that goal. My journals don't have unnecessary adornments. Any marking you make in or on the journal and every scratch you accumulate on the leather are the best embellishments I can ever imagine :)
