Friends of Santa

We are truly friends of Santa!

This shop is a collaboration between two neighbors, Carolyn Wilder and Alison Duncan. We quickly discovered our mutual love of holidays, seasons and all celebrations. We also enjoyed each others talents and creativity. Alison has a passion for fabric and is a master quilter. You will notice her expertise in our fabric creations and color choices. Carolyn loves sculpting in many mediums: ceramic clay, polymer clay, paper mache and a little bit of wood carving.
We arrived at our name, Friends of Santa, in 1994. At that time Bill Clinton was in office and we live in the Washington DC suburb of Fairfax, Virginia. Local news papers referred to 'friends of Bill' (FOB for short) and 'friends of Hillary' (FOH), so we followed their example and FOS was born!
