Training Wheels
Most children who learn how to ride a bike starts with training wheels. This is like the small steps that each kindergartener takes to learn their alphabets, phonics, and numbers. When I was attending Early Childhood Training, our lecturer taught us how young children learn with their five senses, through seeing, hearing, touching, etc. As I worked with children of different ages, I learned how to create materials that are interactive, engaging, and interesting to young learners. I began to compose materials to be used for Reading and Math from K-8th. My areas of interest are reading, cooking, arts and crafts, and social studies. I have homeschooled our two lovely daughters for 10 years and I have taught in public schools for a few years. I would like to use what I have learned with my experiences and skills to help parents, teachers, and students in this field of education.
I am presently a tutor on Wyzant with multiple positive reviews from parents.
