Hi, I’m Mikayla, an analogue collage artist based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

I began experimenting with analogue collage in 2024, drawn to the strange and unexpected possibilities of combining found images, vintage paper, and fragments of the world around me. What began as an experiment quickly became a way of seeing everyday life differently.

My work explores nature, nostalgia, surrealism, and the small moments that make life feel meaningful. I’m especially drawn to the contrast between familiar imagery and unexpected combinations, creating little worlds that feel both nostalgic and otherworldly.

My creative practice has also been deeply shaped by gratitude. After a difficult chapter in my life, making art became a joyful way of reconnecting with curiosity, play, and the beauty of ordinary things.

Through my collages, I hope to create pieces that invite you to pause for a moment, look a little closer, and perhaps remember something of your own.
