Our shop started long before we even joined Etsy. We've always been creative people, and the love of sewing and creativity was passed down from generation to generation.

Before joining Etsy, we sold our items through a craft consignment shop in New England, where we live, in addition to selling in local craft shows. We had more success than we anticipated and struggled to keep up. However, the shop went out of business and the craft shows became difficult to manage with Heather, the daughter half of the team, being away at college.

Several years later, Heather became engaged and we began planning the wedding, pulling in as many handmade touches as we could imagine. We both loved every minute of the process and were sad when the big day was over.

The following year, our creative juices were overflowing and we needed an avenue to channel our creativity. We joined Etsy and haven't looked back since! In our shop we sell a wide variety of items, all of which are made with love by either one or both of us.

Heather handles the photos, editing, listings, and other Internet-related aspects of our shop, including our blog and Facebook page. Karen handles packing and shipping our items to our customers. We love what we do, and love the idea that our creations have travelled beyond New England to each corner of the United States, as well as to Europe. It's a wonderful feeling to bring the warmth of a quilt or the cheer of a holiday decoration into someone's life!
