Frequently asked questions
What does ValcomsForge sell right now?
The shop currently starts with handmade bookmarks from my own workshop. Each piece is designed in CAD and made by me. More items will follow step by step: game accessories, decor, and gifts. What’s available right now is shown in the listings.
How are the bookmarks made?
I design the motifs in Autodesk Fusion and print them in my own workshop in Saxony. After that, I check every piece by hand. This is not resale and not dropshipping — handmade from one person.
How long do processing and shipping take?
The processing time is listed in each listing and is usually a few business days; custom orders may take a little longer. Shipping starts within Germany, then the EU and internationally. Exact delivery times depend on the destination and the carrier.
Does part of every sale go to nature and animal protection?
Yes, that matters to me. A small share of every sale goes to carefully selected organizations for wildlife and plant conservation. I’ll add which ones once the selection is final. The purchase price and checkout stay fully on Etsy as usual. I’ll share more about this on social media.
What are the bookmarks made of, and how do I care for them?
The bookmarks are 3D-printed from PLA in my own workshop. PLA is a plant-based plastic that is dimensionally stable in everyday use, but sensitive to heat. Do not put them in the dishwasher, leave them in direct sun or a hot car, or dip them in boiling water. Dust them off or wipe with a slightly damp cloth, then dry. Do not use as dishware or with hot drinks unless a listing says otherwise.
