"Think Hatch" isn't so much a noun as it is a verb. It describes a process of creating. All great things start from a simple thought which is built upon, formed and incubated into a final idea. Hatching is the process of bringing those ideas to life.

When I was very young I loved building with Lego. As I got older, my creative outlet shifted to drawing. I then discovered paracord as a teenager and was constantly tying knots into bracelets and key fobs, creating my own designs. One day, my brothers bought a dremel and let me use it to shape scraps of wood into spoons. It was great fun. Soon after, I found my dad's rusty old scroll saw that had been stored away for years. After oiling, greasing, and a bit of tuning up, I was well on my way to becoming the maker I am today.

Working with a plethora of materials, life is never boring and I love it. Each material often entails its own process, hurdles, quirks and leaning curves. Overcoming and mixing them together is what brings me joy. When you buy from me, you are supporting what I love to do most, making things, and I thank you for that!
