These polka dot earrings are handmade from black and white enamel on copper discs. Polka dots are the size of poppy seeds. Finished with handcrafted sterling silver earwires.

The discs measure 1.9cm (3/4 inches).
Total length 3.2cm (1 1/4 inches).

The discs are enameled on both sides to distribute the tension of glass and metal evenly and prevent cracking or warping.

MADE TO ORDER. Usually it takes two or three days until I can ship them.

The earrings will come packed in a small jewelry box ready for gift giving.

Enameling is fusing powdered glass to metal at high temperatures. Torch firing allows me to have more control over the process and to observe how the powder softens, flows, and then hardens to a smooth, durable vitreous coating.
