Gold wall decor titled "Digging for gold"....and if only gold nuggets like these were so easy to find!!

This art deco wall hanging has been made using a gorgeous array of metallic and gold tiles, clipped into small pieces to give the impression of layers of rock. I have used some glass and some ceramic tiles, and lots of black glass beads for the centre area, where if really digging, I imagine it could be full of stones, and semi precious gems. Gold leaf has been added to two round glass gems in the piece, and creates a balance in the composition.

"Digging for gold" is a stunning contemporary wall art mosaic made by Sarah Berry (Berry Créatif) in her studio in south-west France. It has been hand-made to the highest quality, and measures is 22cm diameter.

I can imagine this mosaic artwork would be a great conversation starter in any home...

It's been made using a lightweight tile board, glass tiles, tesserae, ceramic rounds, glass beads and wire, and is ready to hang with D-ring on the back.
