Wooden bowls Kami and Yuma in a set - the perfect ensemble
In our Kami and Yuma decorative bowls, modern aesthetics, high functionality and Erzgebirge craftsmanship come together harmoniously. The minimalist home accessories in the Japandi style - a modern mix of Scandinavian and Japanese style - combine Scandinavian cosiness and Japanese purism.
Both bowls have strong curves inside and out, which require high craftsmanship, as well as a solid base at different heights, which give the bowls a timeless look and a floating elegance. The special thing: both bowls are each turned from a single piece of solid wood, nothing is assembled or glued together.
The Kami and Yuma bowls look particularly stylish as a table ensemble due to their different heights and diameters. The large, flat Kami bowl forms the centerpiece and is completed by the small, high Yuma bowl with its unusual design.
The bowls offer a practical storage option for your favorite jewelry, sweet delicacies on the dining or side table or small decorative items on the sideboard. You keep keys in the entrance area or cosmetics in the bathroom. And they leave room for creative seasonal design - whether Easter eggs in spring, chestnuts and hazelnuts in autumn or pine cones at Christmas time.
Material and manufacturing
The bowls are a tribute to the art of woodworking in the Ore Mountains. They are made in a traditional wood art workshop, partly by hand and partly using the most modern machines with a high level of craftsmanship. Each bowl is unique.
The decorative bowls are made of durable and robust ash wood, which was grown in sustainable forestry in Germany. We use an organic Scandi oil to treat the surfaces and oil and polish the bowls twice by hand.
Dimensions of the Kami bowl: 23 cm diameter outside, 7 cm high, weight 740 g
Dimensions of the Yuma bowl: 15 cm diameter outside, 9 cm high, weight 440 g
Bring a piece of tradition, cosiness and design into your home and experience how versatile the bowls can be used throughout your life.
