Our handmade soaps are made without synthetic hardeners and palm oil, which means they require a bit of thoughtful care. But, I promise they are worth it! Here are a few tips for ensuring your favorite new bar of soap is long lasting:

1. Place it in a well drained soap dish to allow the soap to fully dry between uses.
2. Use a natural sea sponge, as this will produce a fuller, longer lasting lather than your hands, thereby reducing the actual amount of soap used.
3. When your soap is almost gone, place your soap scraps inside of a washcloth or muslin bag. This allows you to use the last little bits of your favorite soap, with no waste!
4. Our soaps generally last between 4-8 weeks, depending on the frequency of use/number of users.

WWe use these salves for so many applications. They are pure and potent. I love the smell of the medicinal herbs as well! Both salves have saved us during a myriad of situations, so many times. Mandie is so kind and truly brilliant at crafting nature’s remedies for those of us who aren’t blessed with such talent. We love this shop! Pro TIP: Yarrow salve is great to use in place of Neosporin and is SO much healthier! Soothes the pain, stops (mild) bleeding, and heals incredibly quickly! We haven’t used anything else in our first aid kit for years.
