Hand braided area rug combines bright, light blues with yellows and bright reds to make a fun rug, made with recycled & new wool. It measures app. 2' x 3' in size, and is hand-braided and hand-laced.

This cheery rug measures just about 2' x 3' , suitable for so many places in our homes. Locate your rug at a sink, doorway, base of the stairs, or bedside. This oval rug would look just perfect on the floor of a summer cottage, or in a children's room. My rugs are braided with 2.5" - 3.0" wide strips of wool. This makes for plump, 'toe-happy' braids that feel warm and soft underfoot.

About RESCUED, REPURPOSED & NEW WOOLS. Whenever possible, I seek out and rescue old woolens to incorporate into my rugs. Wool is a long-lasting, natural, and sustainable fiber. In my rugs, many beautiful colors of quality wool began life as garments or blankets. The rescued wool fabric is washed, and is repurposed to begin its new life underfoot. This braided wool rug will last many decades - a future family heirloom!
