It is in my interest that your package arrives safely, therefore extreme care is taken in packing items.

All fragile parts are wrapped in bubble and packed in separate internal boxes with polystyrene chips. Metal parts are dismantled and wrapped in bubble or protective wrapping. All boxes and parts are protected by polystyrene and/or crushed newspaper.

Assembly instructions with designs are provided for all dismantled lighting or items.

Shipping is via the French Post international priority. Other shippers can be used if the buyer provides an account number to charge the shipment.

Insurance is required and included in the shipping price of the listing.

Buyers must refuse and return unopenned shipments received with visibly damaged boxes or broken jingling noises when shaken unopened. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the shipper and seller considering the buyer responsible for the damage. If the package meets this criteria and is found damaged when opened file and insurance claim. Buyer's payment is refunded once the seller receives the insurance reimbursement; if the insurance reimbursement is less than the purchase amount (i.e. because of exchange differences) the amount of the insurance payment is reimbursed.

Shipment record: Since 1999 over 1000 international shipments have been made via ETSY and eBay. Only 3 shipments suffered damage (over 5 years ago). Only 2 were lost (due to errors in the address labelling). I am rightfully proud of this record and work hard to keep up the good standards.

All lighting is provided electrically ready to install. Generally new electrical wiring is provided. Chandeliers and sconces generally have ground connections; lamps do not. Lighting is provided in 110v or 220v standard as requested by the buyer at no extra cost. 110v lights are furnished with either candelabra or E27 large screw sockets. 220v lights are provided with B22 bayonet or E27 large screw sockets. The French standard for lighting are B22 bayonet sockets. B22 bulbs in 110v or 220v are typically available online in most countries (email for assistance in obtaining bulbs).
