===============================================================
Meyer was a German optical company, founded by Hugo Meyer (born 21.05.1863, died 01.03.1905) in Görlitz, east Germany
In 1918 Dr. Paul Rudolph, the inventor of Zeiss' Tessar and Protar, developed Meyer's Double Plasmat and in the 1920s he developed fast variants, the Kino-Plasmat f/2
and the World's fastest lens of its time, the Kino-Plasmat f/1.5
still a fast lens !
This lens is in good used (vintage) condition;
the glass is clean and scratch and fungus free - this lens was professionally service in October 2016 - some surface marks as seen in the pictures
the focal length is 25mm (1 inch) and the maximum aperture is f1.5 -
minimum focus is 1.5 feet
It is a 'C' mount lens (1'' threaded) and with the proper adapter will fit a micro four thirds digital camera - the front element appears to be un-coated
serial number 433461
There are images made with this type of lens to be found on the web which can illustrate the sharpness and bokeh
