Ann Marie Palmer is a self-taught artist who discovered a passion for watercolor painting during the early stages of COVID shutdowns. As a mother of two children attempting to balance working from home and child care, watercolors became the perfect medium for personal expression and self-care. The free flowing forms and endless possibilities have been a welcomed presence during challenging times.

Since starting watercolors, Ann Marie has gone on to take Advanced Watercolor courses at the Crealde School of Art in Winter Park and displayed her artwork at their 2021 juried student arts exhibit. She enjoys capturing moments of nature in its simplest forms, appreciating delicate florals and animals.

Ann Marie is originally from upstate New York, but has been a Florida resident since 2001 and a Winter Park residence since 2011. Ann Marie is grateful to live in the sunshine and paint the beauty around her.

Ann Marie started her Etsy journey years ago by sharing her love of vintage clothes. While work and children shifted priorities, watercolors have become a passion she can share with her family and those around her!
