Nel 2004 ho fatto a mano TUTTO dalle mie estensioni di capelli ai miei mobili. In parte perché ero al verde, ma anche perché mi piace molto trasformare la spazzatura. Un giorno forse mi metterò in giro per me stesso. Originariamente ho realizzato quaderni di cartone in miniatura dalla spazzatura (lol) con disegni da vecchi libri di allevamento di cavalli vintage. I cavalli erano spesso raffigurati in varie forme di moderazione, le donne, anche, in abbigliamento da equitazione e la serie era chiamata Metodi di moderazione. Il logo del teschio è ovviamente un residuo di questo e per i curiosi, è un esempio obsoleto di Eohippus, il primo antenato del nostro cavallo moderno. Oggi è impreciso e ho incasinato molto nel corso degli anni, quindi non @me ma non sono qui per insegnare una lezione di evoluzione equina. Come il cavallo, mi sono evoluto in quello che vedete oggi. Anche se ho ancora tutte le dita dei piedi.
All'epoca era difficile trovare opzioni non in pelle quando si cercavano restrizioni o persino accessori di moda punk / goth anche se guardando indietro, suppongo che Hot Topic esistesse ma ew. Spettava a me e a un'altra ragazza nel Regno Unito, dimentico il suo nome, popolare la terra (con restrizioni vegane). All'epoca usavo solo materiali riciclati (riproposti) che rendevano le cose interessanti di sicuro. Mi manca. Posso fare qualsiasi cosa quando sono costretto a usare quello che c'è. Riesco a risolvere i problemi ed è quello in cui sono bravo. Se mi dai accesso illimitato a tutti i materiali che voglio, ho difficoltà a trovare idee. Liberarmi nel tuo garage? Ti farò qualcosa di incredibile. Mi piacciono le materie plastiche e la gomma e sono un nerd dell'hardware. Ultimamente è stato sempre più difficile trovare materiali usati e utili, quindi la maggior parte di ciò che vedi proviene da fonti nuove. La pandemia ha fatto cose strane al mio mercato della spazzatura. Quindi perdonami ultimamente, mi sento come se fossi abbastanza noioso ora .. Ho incluso le foto dei primi (oh MySpace!) giorni!! Godetevi quelli, lol.
Per favore, non esitate mai a contattarmi per qualsiasi cosa. Ti amo. Se lavoriamo su qualcosa insieme, sappi solo che mi manchi terribilmente quando è finita.

In 2004 I handmade EVERYTHING from my hair extensions to my furniture. Partly because I was broke but also because I just really like transforming trash. Someday maybe I'll get around to myself. I originally made miniature cardboard notebooks out of trash (lol) with drawings from old, vintage horse husbandry books. The horses were often depicted in various forms of restraint, the women, also, in riding attire and the series was called Methods of Restraint. The skull logo is obviously a remnant of that and for the curious, it's an outdated example of Eohippus, the earliest ancestor to our modern day horse. It is inaccurate today and I've messed with it a lot over the years so don't @me but I'm not here to teach an equine evolution lesson. Like the horse, I evolved into what you see today. Although I still have all my toes.
At the time it was difficult to find non-leather options when looking for restraints or even punk/ goth fashion accessories although looking back, I suppose Hot Topic existed but ew. It was up to me and one other girl in the UK, I forget her name, to populate the earth (with vegan restraints). Back then I only used recycled (re purposed) materials which made things interesting for sure. I miss that. I can make anything when I'm forced to use what's there. I get to problem solve and that's what I'm good at. If you give me unlimited access to any materials I want, I have a very difficult time coming up with ideas. Turn me loose in your garage? I'll make you something amazing. I like plastics and rubber and I'm a hardware nerd. It's been harder and harder to come by used, useful materials lately so most of what you see is sourced new. The pandemic did weird things to my trash market. So forgive me as of late, I feel like I'm quite boring now.. I've included photos from the early (oh MySpace!) days!! Enjoy those, lol.
