Si a mis amigos cercanos y familiares se les pidiera que me describieran en una palabra, (en un abrir y cerrar de ojos) me llamarían artístico o creativo. No es una característica que me esfuerce por ser. Es lo que soy, mi identidad. La creatividad siempre ha sido un sentido de propósito para mí. Al tener las habilidades y el conocimiento para crear, siento que estaba destinado a compartirlo con la intención de plantar bondad en la vida de las personas. Ser escritor y compartir mi imaginación me ha dado la experiencia de influir indirectamente en la vida de los jóvenes. Un puñado de veces, he recibido mensajes de cómo mi trabajo ha hecho que las personas estallen en ataques de risa, o les ha ayudado a escapar de las cosas estresantes que suceden en su vida. Me siento gratificada y encantada cuando veo lo terapéutico que puede ser mi trabajo. Ser capaz de hacer lo que amo y transmitir la creatividad que fue producida por mi pasión por crear es auto-gratificante. Es la RECREACIÓN la que RELAJA, y RENERGIZA mi espíritu. El R3 en R3Creates es lo que eso representa.

If my close friends and family were asked to describe me in one word, they would (in a heartbeat) call me either artistic or creative. It’s not a characteristic that I strive to be. It’s who I am–my identity. Creativity has always been a sense of purpose for me. By having the skills and knowledge to create, I feel that I was meant to share it with the intention of planting goodness in peoples lives. Being a writer and sharing my imagination has given me the experience of indirectly influencing young people’s lives. A handful of times, I’ve received messages of how my work has made people burst into fits of laughter, or helped them escape from stressful things going on in their life. I feel gratified and overjoyed when I see how therapeutic my work can be. Being able to do what I love and passing on the creativity that was produced by my passion to create is self-rewarding. It’s RECREATION that RELAXES, and RENERGIZES my spirit. The R3 in R3Creates is what that stands for.
