The rarest of cholla—teddy bear! Outer diameters range from 2 - 2 3/4” on average. Inner diameters are at least 1.25”. These are straight cut pieces—meaning no branches and little, to no curves. Your wood will be pressure washed in 220 F water.

This cholla was collected from a natural (no chemicals used in the area, etc) area. No thorns!!

Cholla is great for a variety of things--reptiles, hermit crabs, chinchillas, rabbits, aquariums, pleco, shrimp, birds, crafts, air plants, creating biofilm...the list goes on! Just know that when you buy from me--I would never send you anything that I would not personally use in my own setup.

**Since cholla comes from the great outdoors, each piece will be unique--so various coloring, knots, curves, etc. should be expected.**

OPTIONAL: To prepare the wood before placing in an aquarium or pet habitat, boil it or soak it in hot water to remove any native soils that may be present, reduce excess tannins and to make the wood sink. The time will vary in regards to how long this process will take—it could be hours, it could be weeks, everyone has different results. *This is done at your own risk—this process could ruin the wood.*

I source from reliable, environmentally sustainable, organic, non-GMO suppliers. All of my products have been through trials by over 50+ hermit crabs--so I can see what they REALLY love.

Legally, that is what is required. It's also a more transparent way of selling products. We will use a 2" x 3" bag size as an example. That bag size may hold 2 Oz of greensand, but it will only hold 0.5 Oz of worm castings. Big difference, huh? So instead of our customers having to play a guessing game as to how much they are getting--net weights are given.

Additional Tube Information: #5 recyclable, flip top, hinged lid design that is air and mositure resistant, FDA compliant, BPA/latex/lead free, and Made in the USA.

From time to time, our supplier runs out of clear tubes and we have to wait while they make more for us. When this happens, we switch to another color--same quality, same specs, just a different color!

We have four sizes of bags that we use. Again, we sell by net weight--so please be sure to make note of the weights you are purchasing, not the specific bag size.
