ABOUT:
The 'original' Tied the Knot Design card on Etsy. It's a gorgeous little keepsake that the special couple will cherish for a lifetime. This personalised wedding card is made from the highest quality veneered MDF and comes with a cute set of rings to symbolise the coming together of two people. The card has been bound by hand using twine.

SIZE:
The card measures approximately 85mm (W) x 135mm (H) x 8mm (D) (similar to A6 size)

PERSONALISATION:
You can have 2 first names rather than titles and can change 'tied the knot' - personalise it however you'd like!
Leave your own message or use our standard message for inside is: 'A forever keepsake for your wedding day. Wishing you all the love and happiness for your future together' - you can just include your names or 'lots of love from *your name(s)* to sign off the card. Please include 'To the new Mr & Mrs... if you'd like that to start the message (or their names again).
Type all personalisation into the personalisation box provided or message us directly. If you leave parts blank, we will also leave it blank.

STYLES:
Choose from 2 unique designs, Style 1 or 2 as shown in the images. We do not mix styles - please choose one or the other.
The style chosen for the front will match with the corresponding inside font and will be centralised.

MATERIALS:
Choose from: Cherry, Maple, Oak or Black Walnut - see our images for examples. The front image is in Oak.
Cherry and Maple give the clearest & cleanest engrave. Oak is our most 'grainy' and rustic, with deep grainy pattern throughout. Black Walnut produces a deep, dark engrave and can be speckled.

• Your spelling and grammar is your responsibility, please double-check before (and after) ordering as we engrave your exact message. We receive many orders including ‘slang’ words and pet-names which we respectfully do not change, as each message is personal.
• We can supply a digital proof image on request before an order is made. This may delay the processing time of your order slightly depending on how busy we are.

• We are an eco-friendly company and use no plastic in our packaging. Items are protected with either tissue paper and/or eco-friendly straw.

• All our greeting cards (such as wedding cards and birthday cards) come in a small postage box and include an envelope for you to send it to the recipient.

A full refund or replacement will be granted only if an item is more than 10 working days late (UK) or 20 working days late (International) as we personalise each item and cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier. Postage times during Christmas and Courier Strikes may take considerably longer. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.

All orders come with a tracking number - however these are different depending on which service you purchase at the checkout.

If you purchased our tracked 24/48 services, your item will be tracked from our door to yours. If you purchased using guest checkout, you'll receive a confirmation email once your order has dispatched. You can click Track your package at the top of the email.

If you used our standard services, you will also get a tracking number but this will only be for proof of delivery and dispatch. We can use this tracking number to check if a product has been delivered - this also includes with a neighbour, safe place or Royal Mail Delivery Office.

To see the estimated delivery date for your order on Etsy.com:
On Etsy.com, click the Your Account icon. Click Purchases and reviews. If available, the estimated delivery date will be to the right of your order.

Please read the product description for how long a product takes to be made. This varies from product to product but is usually around 2-4 days (excluding busy holiday periods).
Then, depending on which postage service you selected, the postage time is added on to that. E.g. if you buy 24 hour tracked, it will still take us 2-4 days to make the item, then once posted it will arrive the next day.

If you are in a rush to receive your item - please use our 'RUSH' door-door in 3 working days option at the checkout.

If it is just the wording and a very minor tweak such as adding a pawprint or love heart to the end of a message, we can do this for free.

If however, multiple proof images and changes are needed to make a card/ornament bespoke we will add a charge for this. Please get in touch for a quote -we are very reasonable and friendly :)

Most of our orders sent Internationally do arrive within the displayed ETA time on each product, but please know there is a small risk it can arrive later than promised if it is delayed by customs.

We also cannot offer a refund or replacement until after 20 working days has passed the last ETA date - this is due to the policies set by the courier. If this is an issue, please do not order.
