Al igual que mi superheroína homónima, Lois Lane, creo en ser audaz, hacer las preguntas correctas y encontrar historias que valga la pena contar, excepto que mis historias viven en camisetas cómodas y sudaderas cómodas en lugar de titulares de periódicos.
Encontrando mi propio camino...
Berkeley Lane Designs nació de una simple frustración: todo parecía igual. Ya sabes a qué me refiero: el mismo contorno básico del estado con "Virginia Occidental" estampado, los mismos dichos trillados que todos hemos visto un millón de veces. Como alguien que considera el Estado de las Montañas como su hogar, quería celebrar lo que hace especial a este lugar de una manera que realmente se sintiera auténtica y fresca.
En lugar de seguir la abarrotada carretera de diseños recargados, decidí tomar la ruta panorámica; ya saben, esas sinuosas carreteras rurales que llevan a lo mejor. Mis diseños de Virginia Occidental van más allá del turismo superficial. Capturan el verdadero espíritu, las bromas locales, lo que hace que los lugareños asientan y sonrían porque lo entienden.

Pero lo importante de encontrar tu propio camino es que no se detiene en las fronteras estatales. Aunque mi corazón está arraigado en Virginia Occidental, mi sentido del humor es libre. Creo diseños que hacen reír, reflexionar o simplemente sentirse un poco más a gusto. Ya sea una versión ingeniosa de la vida cotidiana o una observación ingeniosa que te haga reír a carcajadas, siempre busco la combinación perfecta entre lo cercano y lo inesperado.

Like my superhero namesake Lois Lane, I believe in being bold, asking the right questions, and finding stories worth telling – except my stories live on comfortable tees and cozy sweatshirts instead of newspaper headlines.
Finding My Own Lane...
Berkeley Lane Designs was born from a simple frustration: everything looked the same. You know what I mean – the same basic state outline with "West Virginia" slapped across it, the same tired sayings everyone's seen a million times. As someone who calls the Mountain State home, I wanted to celebrate what makes this place special in ways that actually feel authentic and fresh.
Instead of following the crowded highway of overdone designs, I decided to take the scenic route – you know, those winding country roads that lead to the good stuff. My West Virginia designs dig deeper than surface-level tourism. They capture the real spirit, the inside jokes, the things that make locals nod and smile because they get it.

But here's the thing about finding your own path – it doesn't stop at state lines. While my heart is rooted in West Virginia soil, my sense of humor roams free.
